SAP R/3 productive operation in BASF Kazakhstan

BASF is a world leader in the chemical industry. BASF's portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products, agricultural products and fine chemicals to crude oil and natural gas. Today BASF in Kazakhstan is presented primarily by construction chemicals and crop protection products.

SAP R/3 Go-Live started on September 1, 2008. Time-line of the project was very tight - 4 month.

Project scope included: Asset Management, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Material Management, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, and Quality Management.

SAP R/3 allows smooth running of company business processes related to Products Production and Sales in compliance with tax legislation and financial accounting requirements of Kazakhstan within the Global BASF SAP system.
